Charles F. Klahm IV is an Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He received his doctorate in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati. His primary research interests focus on police-community relations and media influences on perceptions of criminal justice processes. In 2013, he was co-recipient of the National Institute of Justice’s W.E.B. Du Bois Fellowship for Research in Race, Gender, Culture, and Crime.
